Good but I miss my old GPS60CSx
Having lost my GPS60CSx in France earlier this year I decided on the Colorado as a replacement. I took this unit to Everest Base Camp and loaded it with the relevanty TOPO maps.

Brilliant Colorado from Garmin – Serious users only though
Update August 2008.
Just returned from Scotland with this unit having added the Garmin software update as of 17th July. This is now a truely excellent unit.

Very Poor
As noted in other reviews the base map support is very poor. To be asked (at time of writing) to pay another £100+ for maps on top of the base unit cost of £300 just seems crazy…
